FAQ about working with us
Below are the questions we hear most often during first calls. If yours is not listed, use the form above or ring us directly.
How much does a typical project cost?
Pricing depends on scope, data complexity and the number of integrations required. A focused proof-of-concept (one model, one data source, six-week timeline) usually falls between £15,000 and £30,000. Larger engagements with multiple models, dashboards and ongoing retraining contracts range from £40,000 to £120,000 over 12 months. We provide a fixed quote after the two-week diagnostic, so there are no surprise invoices.
Do we need to share sensitive data with you?
We can work with anonymised or pseudonymised datasets. For clients in regulated industries like finance or healthcare, we sign a data-processing agreement before any files change hands. Where possible, we train models on your infrastructure so the raw data never leaves your network. Our engineers hold SC clearance and are comfortable working within air-gapped environments when required.
What happens after the model is delivered?
Every project includes a handover package: documentation, a recorded walkthrough, and two live training sessions for the staff who will use the system day to day. We also offer a monthly maintenance plan that covers model monitoring, retraining on fresh data, and bug fixes. About 70% of our clients opt for this plan in the first year.
Can you work with data stored in legacy systems?
Yes. We have connected to AS/400 databases, flat-file exports from mainframes, and SOAP APIs that predate REST by a decade. Our data-engineering team writes custom connectors that pull information on a schedule you define. If the data exists somewhere, we can almost certainly reach it.
How long before we see results?
The diagnostic takes two weeks. After that, a first working prototype is usually ready within four to six weeks. From prototype to production-grade deployment, expect another four to eight weeks depending on testing requirements and change-management processes at your end. The fastest project we have completed went from kick-off to live in 42 days; the most complex took seven months.
What happens next
Once you submit the form or give us a call, here is the sequence of events you can expect. We keep things straightforward because drawn-out sales processes waste everyone's time.
Discovery call
A 30-minute video call where you describe the problem and we ask about your data, team and budget. No slides, no pitch deck. We just listen and take notes.
Written proposal
Within five working days, you receive a document that outlines the approach, timeline, deliverables and a fixed price. If it does not suit you, there is no obligation and no follow-up sales calls.
Diagnostic phase
Once you sign off, we spend two weeks auditing your data and mapping it to the agreed objectives. At the end of this phase, you get a technical plan and a revised timeline if anything has changed.
Build and deliver
We build the solution, test it against your KPIs, and hand it over with documentation and training. You own the code and the model weights. We stick around for support if you want us to.
